is a peaceful and quiet stay.
Walk a block over to a coffee shop or a few of the
many close restaurants. Or walk a block down the street to the green
strip at Crescent Harbor and from there right across to the Centennial
Building or downtown Sitka. At Crescent Harbor you will find kayaks
and bikes to rent where you can head out on your own or join a tour.
The charter fleet and wildlife cruises operate out of the harbor. The
Sitka Summer Music Festival and Russian Dancers perform right there at
the Centennial Building.
The lovely Cottages on Monastery are fully
furnished. Each cottage has wireless high speed internet and satellite
TV. They are non-smoking and pet dander free. Each comfortable cottage
has nice linens with a twin bed and a twin trundle bed underneath and
each has a private bathroom. There is a small breakfast bar, microwave,
stove with oven, refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster along with all
the kitchen dishes and items you might need for cooking and eating.
