Sharon's Cabin, Orca Room
Amazing Wildlife Viewing Opportunities! Sharon's Cabin is a large 4 bedroom, 4 bath cabin, located on the waterfront of Sitka Sound, directly in front of Mt. Edgecumbe. During the summer, the house only rents as a whole but from Oct 1 through April 30th, you can rent an individual room with private bath. The Orca Room isa waterfront room (open windows and hear ocean crashing on rocks) located in the upper level and has it's own private bath across the hall. Your key fits your room and your bath. It also has a TV and DVD player. It is on the same level as the front entry, the laundry, kitchen, dining, waterfront deck and two other rooms, the Grizzly and the Spruce rooms. The living room, hot tub and covered porch are downstairs. The living room has a wide screen TV and casual bar/dining area. Enjoy an Alaskan sunset while watching eagles dive for their breakfast. Otters, whales and unbelievable amounts of eagles are all wildlife that may be seen from our deck. The city bus stop is about a minute's walk away, and, you're less than ten minutes from downtown Sitka.
