3 BR WINDSOR HILLS 204

Yes! it's 204!! What an amazing and beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath Vacation Home! After opening TWO 2 bedroom vacation homes at Windsor Hills earlier in 2007 (302 and 402 right above it upstairs) and having 6 months of fabulous success with both of them, it was time to move up to owning and renting a 3 bedroom home. This would be our VERY FIRST 3 Bedroom Vacation home. Looking at the floorplans at Windsor Hills for 3 bedrooms, we noticed that there were two sizes of 3 Bedroom Condos - one is about 1247 sq feet (these are the ODD NUMBER units like 201, ,303, etc. the LARGEST 3 bedroom Condos at Windsor Hills end in "04", like 204, 304, 404, etc that are 1450 sq ft. We decided to focus our search on finding a LARGER 3 bedroom home - the one featuring 1,450 Sq Feet. By this time, it's late Summer 2007 and investors are beginning to panic and bail out of Florida properties seemingly by the hour. The real estate market was COLLAPSING! But this was perfect for our timing, as we were in ACQUIRE mode all the way while the prices were falling, falling, falling. We found a condo just going into Foreclosure. It was another "flip", meaning it had never been used or even slept in one night. It was a large, 1450 sq ft 3 Bedroom with a fantastic view and a large Palm tree right outside the livingroom window. 204 was born! It was our best deal yet on anyplace in Windsor Hills. $183,000 for a three bedroom Home! On September 4, 2007, we closed on Vacation Home 204 and went to work. 204 had no furniture in it since it was totally an "investment" unit to the previous owner (just like 402 had been to its previous owner as well), so we spent about $20,000 on furnishings, equipment, electronics, and artwork to bring our first big 3 bedroom up to our high standards. This was our most beautiful SHOWCASE unit throughout the remainder of 2007, 2008, and 2009, and is just as gorgeous today, having been refurbished, updated, and freshened several times with new equipment and furniture since opening. Since up until we bought this home, Patti and I had only owned two bedroom condos, so it was a big leap for us to get into the 3 bedroom game. Many sleepless nights going into this project. But it all worked out well and today is most definitely my favorite 3 bedroom unit, still looks new, and still feels new. And guests LOVE this place. We get so many positive comments about 204. A new KING bed in the Master bedroom just recently tops off the perfect harmony of this unit. You will LOVE 204! Patti says that in retirement, this might actually be the unit we live in, it is also her first choice - even more so than the Townhouses we would eventually end up buying. She likes the very spaciousness of the condo, the layout with the french doors leading into the 3rd bedroom, overlooking the palm trees, and the afternoon sun floods onto the screened in balcony. WIndsor Hills the 2nd time

It was our 2nd time in Windsor Hills and once again, we had a wonderful time. We stayed there for 2 weeks and everything was great. The apartment was really clean, furnished very nice and comfortable. It has everything you need, the Kitchen is fine,we appreciated the washer and dryer very much. We enjoyed every day there, as well as the pool. We hope we have the chance to stay there again.
