204B Features KING BED in Master Bedroom!

Oh, yes! 204B! It's Beautiful! Every property has a story to it, as we like to say. Well, 9 Months after we bought and opened Vacation Home 204 right directly across the parking lot from here, we had jumped into the 3 bedroom game successfully, and we knew what we had to do next. So we had TWO 2 bedroom condos and ONE 3 bedroom condo at the time (204). It's 2008 and real estate is tanking everywhere! To round things out, we wanted to find one more 3 Bedroom vacation home. That would make it two of each type, and then we would be done buying condos and could move on to the next goal: Townhouses. (Which is eventually exactly what we did - the power of setting goals!) Again, we wanted the LARGEST floorplan of 3 bedroom condos, the 1,450 Sq Ft floorplan. When 204B came on the market, it couldn't have been better for us. Here was another large 3 bedroom, and it was literally RIGHT ACROSS THE WAY from our original 204, which means that families traveling together could stay so close to each other that they could talk to each other from the balconies. Each unit is a MIRROR IMAGE of the other across the street. We added the "B" to it's number because we already owned a 204. There is no "B" over the door marking it as 204"B", this is just how WE keep the two #204 units straight. This unit had a great rental history, but the owner had overpaid for the unit - paying almost $211,000 for it back in 2006. With real estate prices falling by 2008, this is one unit that we probably overpaid for also - probably our "worst" purchase deal as far as the price we paid $195,000 (too high), but we wanted it badly because it was in such GREAT Condition and in such a PERFECT location as it relates to our other 3 bedroom unit. Also, we do not plan to sell any of our homes, so purchase price to us is almost irrelevant, we look down the road 30 or 40 years and we will still be holding our homes. Now of course, it has all turned out fine, but at the time we were overpaying for this home on a price per sq ft basis. We closed on it in May of 2008, paid $195,000 for it, and it has been our BEST 3 bedroom unit in terms of rentals. Guests LOVE 204B. It has a furnishing charm and look that is unlike any other home we built previous to it. We made it UNIQUE and kept the kids in mind when building it out. Looking back today, this unit was primarily a purchase to round out our 3 bedroom Condo holdings, and yet it has turned out to be a fabulous home that is highly successful, as we have many families who ONLY want to stay in 204B. A Beautiful family friendly home that is loved by all. While this home is not close to my heart like 204 is, it is an incredible and our most sought after 3 Bedroom condo vacation home year after year. I try to forget about what we paid just to acquire this one! Enjoy 204B and that glorious sunshine that floods onto the screened in balcony/porch every morning as you sit out and enjoy your coffee. -Dave

Windsor Hills Return Visit

Once again we had a great time at Dave Robinson's unit in Windsor Hills. We had rented a 3 bedroom townhouse for our family of 8 in November of 2015. But, the two of us returned last week for one week in a 3 bedroom condo which was also very comfortable and nicely furnished. There are LOTS of Disney prints throughout. We were able to make several of our own meals and also watched two movies in the 40 seat theater. We don't swim but enjoy the beauty of the clubhouse and pool area. After going to Florida in winter for the first time in 2011, I started googling for places for a nice stay and found Dave Robinson's newsletter. What a great deal! We had a great time (minutes from Disney) in this beautiful unit. My 10 year old was begging to leave the parks to go back to the condo and swim! The gated community was nice and safe and everything you need from grocery stores to resteraunts is minutes away. We will definately stay with you again! Thanks!!
